Dr. Justin Lieblong was born and raised in Russellville, AR, where he attended Russellville High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Lieblong then earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. After completing an internship in internal medicine at UAMS, he continued his residency training in ophthalmology at the Jones Eye Institute at UAMS. While chief resident at UAMS, Dr. Lieblong was awarded the Resident Teacher of the Year by the ophthalmic technicians and students. Additionally, he was voted by the faculty, staff and residents as Resident of the Year while serving as chief resident at the Jones Eye Institute at UAMS.

Dr. Lieblong practices as a comprehensive ophthalmologist here in the Little Rock area. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of cataracts including "no shot, no stitch, no patch" cataract surgery, glaucoma laser and surgical management, along with eyelid disorders including chalazion and blepharoplasty and childhood eye diseases such as tear duct obstruction and strabismus.
During his childhood, Dr. Lieblong enjoyed and competed in various sports and activities. While at UCA, he was a member of the University of Central Arkansas Soccer Team. Dr. Lieblong also has worked at the Boy Scout Northern Tier Canoe Base as a mentor and guide for Boy Scout troops for camping trips and wilderness canoeing. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at home with his children. He also enjoys duck and goose hunting, fishing and canoeing here in the wonderful nature we enjoy in Arkansas.
